Bruce Lord Wilder is Of Counsel to Wilder & Mahood. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and also holds an M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Medicine (1966) and the M.P.H. degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health (1970). His areas of interest in the law include genetic and reproduction technology; the protection of confidentiality of medical information, with particular emphasis on genetic information and computerized medical records; and hospital medical staff and physician disciplinary matters. He has written extensively on the law of assisted reproduction technology.

Mr. Wilder is Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Interdisciplinary Committee on Health-Related Matters, and is a former Chair of the ABA Section of Family Law's Committee on the Law of Genetic and Reproduction Technology. He has been a member of Council of the Health Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association for several years, and is a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, and the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Wilder has been a member of the Legal Committee of the Pittsburgh Aids Task Force, and is a member of the Asylum Network of Physicians for Human Rights. He is the 2007 winner of the Volunteer in the Arts award.
